Zeffie Lee Crabtree

Zeffie Lee Zip Crabtree, 89, of 2444 Pellville Road, Roseville, died Saturday, October 18, 2003, at his home. He was born in Panther, Ky. and was a member of St. Williams Catholic Church. He was a disabled U. S. Army World War II veteran and received the Bronze Star, enjoyed fishing, spending time with his grandchildren, and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Catherine Crabtree on Nov. 30, 1975, a daughter, Ann Marie Fulkerson in 1999, and a son, Sherman Crabtree in 1950.
Surviving is a daughter, Darline Lindsey of Roseville, Ky., 3 sons, Dennis Crabtree of Holly Springs, N. C., and Darrell and Ed Crabtree, both of Roseville, 16 grandchildren, Numerous great grandchildren, and several nieces & nephews.
Services will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, October 21, 2003, at St. Williams Catholic Church with burial following in St. Williams Cemetery where military honors will be provided.. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 P.M. Monday, October 20, and after 8:30 A.M. Tuesday at Glenn Funeral Home. Prayers will be at 7:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.
