Zachary "Zach" Roberts

Zachary "Zach' David Roberts, 18, of Owensboro, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, June 1, 2016. Zachary loved the Lord and was an active member of Third Baptist Church. He was also a member of the 2016 Owensboro High School graduating class where he was a member of the JROTC. Zachary had an amazing work ethic, since the age of 7 he had been mowing lawns and was currently working at Kroger's where he was affectionately known as "the smile at the end of the line". He had a passion for weightlifting and enjoyed participating in weight lifting competitions. He was an avid outdoorsman and he had a great love of music, especially guitars. Zachary never met a stranger and was loved by many, his smile will be greatly missed.

Zach was preceded in death by his grandfather, Joe Roberts.

Survivors include his mom and dad, Wes and Karen Roberts; brother, Jacob Roberts; sister, AnaKaye Roberts; grandparents; Barry and Linda Spinks and Betty Sue Roberts; aunts and uncles, Stacey Spinks Johnson, Jennifer Pirruccello (Mark), Brent Roberts and Amy Ralph (Paul); cousins, Andrew, Gabriel, and Marco Pirruccello, Blake, Bailey and Frankie Joe Roberts, Matthew Kauffman, Alex, Jessica, Lilly and Emmy Ralph and Lacey Johnson; and life long friends and mentors, David and Rhonda Peak and Casey Dean.

Services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Third Baptist Church with Dr. Ron Williams and Dr. James Byrd officiating. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Sunday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory and after 11 a.m. Monday at Third Baptist Church. Burial will be in Owensboro Memorial Gardens.
