Zacharia "Mister" Louis Cox

Zacharia “Mister” Louis Cox, 20, of Owensboro, passed away Friday, March 20, 2026. He was born on June 7, 2005, In Chillicothe, OH. Zacharia was a 2023 graduate of Owensboro High School.

Zacharia was a loving person with a bright soul, any room he walked into his infectious smile lit it up. If he didn’t see you smiling, he had a joke to change that, he could make you laugh about the simplest of things. He loved hard and felt deeply, he was always ready to make a new memory with his friends and family. Mister was a kid magnet; they gravitated towards each other; kids just adored him and he felt the same about them. He had a love for music, playing games, animals, and spending time outdoors.

Zacharia will be deeply loved and missed, and never forgotten.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Micheal Pettiford.

Zacharia is survived by his parents, Janon (Jonathan) Constant; sisters, Alicea (Tyler) Cox, Dakota Cox and Montana (Matthew) Pettiford; a brother Peyton Constant; his grandmother Janet Pettiford; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Celebration of Life service for Zacharia is currently being planned by his family to be held soon, any contributions towards this celebration for the family are appreciated.
