Yvonne Davis Parish

Yvonne Davis Parish, 82, of Owensboro, passed away on Wednesday March 14, 2012 at the Owensboro Medical Health System.
Yvonne was born in Memphis, TN the daughter of the late Philip Davis and Tinie Davis Edwards, she was preceded in death by her parents and her granddaughter Jennifer Brown in 1976 and her step brother Charles Davis.
Yvonne is a member of the Century Christian Church, a charter member of the Windridge Country Club, she was an avid golfer, she loved gardening and being outdoors, spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Yvonne is survived by her husband of 63 years, Charlie, three daughters, Pam Logsdon (Don), Carla Brown (Donnie), Lisa Teasley (Mike), one son Charles S. "Chip" Parish Jr. (Mae) all of Owensboro seven grandchildren Janette, Stacy, Heath, Chris, Rachel, David and Matthew, nine great grandchildren, one sister, Dorothy Graham of Madisonville and one step brother Phil Davis Jr. of Tennessee, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday March 17, 2012 in the chapel of the Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with the Rev. Andy Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville, KY.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday March 16, 2012 and from 10:00 AM until service time on Saturday at the funeral home.
