Yvonne Leibfreid Myers, 79, of 224 Redbud Road, Owensboro, died Sunday, December 15, 2002 at Owensboro Mercy Health System. She was born in Owensboro, Kentucky on May 26, 1923 the daughter of William and Verna Mae Stewart Leibfreid. Her husband, Warren G. Myers, preceded her in death on November 30, 2002.
She was a homemaker and a member of Eaton Memorial Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Sharon R. Goforth of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; a granddaughter; two brothers, Donald Leibfreid of Owensboro and Jimmy Leibfreid of Dade City, FL; and three sisters, Rachel Goyne of Louisville and Barbara Roach and Betsy Guffey, both of Owensboro.
Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 17, 2002 at Glenn Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Reverend Bob Peterson. Burial will follow in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Her family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Monday, December 16, 2002 and after 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
