Wilma Pansy Bruce

Wilma Pat Bruce, 84, of 1200 E. Byers Ave., Apt. A-111, Owensboro, died Sunday, August 24, 2003, at Owensboro Mercy Health System. She was born in Muhlenburg Co., Ky. and retired after 27 years as a Lunchroom Manager with the Jefferson Co. and Owensboro City School Systems. She was a member of First Baptist Church and the Friendship Sunday School Class. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, working with children, and being with her family.
Surviving is her husband of 67 years, Garmon, her son and daughter-in-law, Larry G. & Edna Bruce of Owensboro, 2 Grandchildren, Keith Bruce of Hendersonville, Tn., Melody & her husband, Terry Delk of Owensboro, a great grandchild, Scott Delk of Owensboro, 3 Sisters, Helen Stirsman of Central City, Ky., Ruby Jean Dreher of Buchanan, W. Va., and Dortha Robertson of Calhoun, Ky.
Services will be Wednesday, August 27, 2003, at 11:30 A.M. at Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 26, from 2:00-8:00 P.M. and after 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to either Ky.
