Willie Rod Royalty

Willie Rod Royalty, 92, of LaBelle, Fl., passed away on Friday, March 19, 2004, at the Oakbrook Nursing Home in LaBelle. He was born in Breckenridge Co., Ky. on September 18, 1911. He was the son of the late Ola & Jim Royalty. He was a retired farmer and was a member & honorary deacon at Mt. Zion General Baptist Church in Reed, Ky. for 34 years. His wife Rea Royalty preceded him in death in 1991.

Survivors include two sons, Larry Wayne Royalty of LaBelle, Fl. and L. D. Royalty of Owensboro, and a daughter, Helen Whobrey of LaBelle, 10 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, March 23, 2004, at the Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in the Mt. Zion General Baptist Church Cemetery at Reed. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 P.M. Monday and after 8:30 A.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
