Mr. Willie D. ''Butch'' Joyce,54, of Utica Kentucky,died August 16, 2002 at his home. The Providence native had worked as a coal miner with accuride, he attended Buck Creek Baptist Church, was a graduate of Providence High School, was a Marine Corps veteran of Vietnam, a member of the American Legion Post 9 and the Disabled American Venterans. He enjoyed NASCAR and photography.
Mr. Joyce is survived by his wife of 16 years, Pat Loney Joyce; his parents, Willie and Magdalene Joyce of Providence; two sons, Billy King Joyce and Brycen D. Joyce both of Evansville; a daughter, Kathy Webb of Indianapolis, IN; a step-son, Roy A. Hogge of Evansvill; two step-daughters, Kathy Charney of Radcliff and Sheri L. Sheffer of Evansville; a brother, Wesley Joyce of Providence; his grandmother; Myrtle Johnson of Providence and 9 grandchildren.
Services will be held in the Glenn Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, August 19 at 2:30 p.m. Visitation will be on Sunday, August 18, from 1-6 p.m. and again on Monday, August 19 after 9 a.m.
