William A. “Pop” White, Jr., 78, of Calhoun, passed away on Friday, July 11, 2025 at Riverside Care and Rehabilitation Center in Calhoun. He was born October 16, 1946 in Alabama to the late William A. White, Sr. and Cynthia Capps White. William was retired as a forklift operator in warehousing and also had worked in groceries. He was a U. S. Army veteran and enjoyed traveling when his wife was living and played the lottery.
William was also preceded in death by his wife, Darlene White in 2016, and three sisters and a brother, Sara Schroeder, Linda Sullins, Brenda Jennings, and Alvin White.
Surviving are a son, Jeremy White (Amanda) of Owensboro; two grandchildren, Parker and Austin White; two sisters, Rea Cost (Jimmy) and Minnie Wood, all of Alabama; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements. Messages and condolences to the family can be shared at www.glenncares.com.
