William R. White

William R. White, 77, of Owensboro, died Saturday, December 5, 2009, at Owensboro Place Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. He was born October 17, 1932 to the late Rexford and Muriel Francis White in Stockton, NY. He was a member of First Baptist Church, an Army Veteran, a UK basketball fan, and enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, gardening, and computers.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Mary White; his sons, Stephen (Nida) White of Owensboro, Bruce (Sharon) White of Lexington; four grandchildren, Eric (Christina) White, Nicole White (fianc, Joshua), Stephen (Jill) White, Matthew (Jena) White; three great-grandchildren, Dorrian White, Dalton Boarman, Matthew Slater.; his sister, Nancy Williams of Warren, PA.

Services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory, with burial in St. Raphel Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM Tuesday, and after 9:00 AM Wednesday at the funeral home.
