William Alan Wells

William "Bill" Alan Wells, passed away after a long battle of cancer on August 24, 2014. He was born on November 26, 1956 in Daviess County to the late William W. and Joyce T. Wells. Bill and his family were members of Owensboro Christian Church. He retired from SGS North America after 31 years of dedicated service. Bill was a grateful member of AA. He had a caring spirit and would do anything to help the ones he loved.

Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Cynthia (Cindy) Wells; Daughter Sara Rose Wells of Yamanashi, Japan; Brother Wm. Martin (Marty) Wells of Owensboro; sister Regina Lynn Wells of Oklahoma City, OK., and several Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.

Services will be Saturday, August 30, 2014 at 10:00AM at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be Friday, 4-8PM and Saturday, from 9:00 until the time of service. Burial will follow at Owensboro Memorial Gardens.

At the family's request, in lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Heartford House of Owensboro.
