William Bradley Vickers

William Bradley Vickers, 39, of Owensboro passed away Thursday, October 6, 2016. Mr. Vickers was born June 16, 1977 in Daviess County to the late Donald Vickers and Nelda Ling. Brad attended Owensboro High School and then managed Captain D's for many years. He was good natured with a comical personality and know to tell exaggerated stories. Brad loved playing pool, repairing bicycles and other devices, hunting, fishing and coaching his son's baseball team.

Brad was preceded in death by his father, Donald Vickers in 1993.

Survivors include his children, Kaley Vickers and Larkin Vickers and their mother, Angie Beals Vickers of Owensboro; his mother, Nelda Sue Ling and husband Robert Ling of Beaver Dam; sisters, Kim Tong of Owensboro, Mary Ellis and husband Joe of Evansville; step-brother, Tracy Scott Ling of Toms River, New Jersey; companion, Penny Roberts; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The service will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 12 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Pastor David Tucker officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10:00 to 2:00 at the funeral home.
