William "Bill" Shuck

William "Bill" Shuck, 73, of Owensboro died Monday May 7, 2018 at Owensboro Center. Mr. Shuck was born May 17, 1944 in Daviess County to the late William Shuck and Celeste Devine. Bill graduated from Owensboro High School and served in the Army National Guard. He was a meter-reader and service tech for Atmos Energy for over 30 years and from which he retired. In his younger days, Bill enjoyed bird hunting and playing pool. He was a member of the AMVETS and Eagles. Bill was known by all as a very likeable, friendly man. While having no children, he and his wife enjoyed their cats and dogs.

Mr. Shuck was also preceded in death by his step-father, Lloyd "Barr" Devine; sister, Jackie Stevens; aunt, Wilma Poole.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Gail Jones Shuck; brothers-in-law, Roger Jones and wife Missie of Owensboro and Mark Jones and wife Julie of Mayfield; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
