William Dale Setzer

William Dale Setzer, Owensboro, KY. Left this world after losing a short battle with lung cancer on May 28, 2015, Born 10-2-1939, to Harry Setzer Sr. and Alice (Wilbur) Setzer.

William was preceded in death by his parents: Harry Sr. and Alice Setzer, brothers: Harry Setzer Jr., Lawrence Setzer, Robert Setzer, Gifford Setzer, Kenneth Setzer, Clarence Setzer, sisters: Inez (Nelson) Setzer, Sylvia (Haskins) Setzer, Mildred (Hargenrader) Setzer.

William is survived by his wife of 34 years: Marcille Darlene (DeMerritt) Setzer, two sons: William Harold Setzer, Lester Laverne Setzer, two brothers: Melvin J. Setzer, David D. Setzer.

William retired from construction and as a transit system bus driver for 6 years. He enjoyed volunteer work at the Elizabeth Munday Activity center. Loved to hunt, fish, spend time with grandchildren: Candyce, Travis, and Brianna. William enjoyed gospel music and loved his church family at Owensboro gospel of the Kingdom Church where sympathy expressions can be sent.

Memorial services will be June 6, 2015 at 11:00 am at Owensboro Gospel of the Kingdom Church, 7625 Hwy. 431 Utica, KY. 42376 with lunch to follow.
