William D. Rutter

William D. Rutter, 76, of 2241 Yewells Landing North, died Sunday, December 15, 2002 at the home of his daughter.

The Mexico, Missouri native had been the owner of the shoe department of McAtees department store and an independent insurance agent.. His interests were politics, world and local events, bridge, golf, and caring for his dog. He was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of WW II.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Patricia Mofield Rutter, a son, Chris Rutter of Carbondale, IL, a daughter, Nancy Skiadas of Owensboro, and three grandchildren.

There will be a gathering of family and friends any time between 10 a.m. and noon Saturday at Glenn Funeral Home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Hospice, Inc., 723 Harvard Drive, Owensboro, KY 42303.
