William Anthony Roberts

William Anthony "Tony" Roberts, 59, died Saturday, January 31, 2009, in Owensboro, Kentucky. He was the co-owner and third generation of Roberts Motors, devoted to his customers and loyal to his staff, he was known as Mr. Motors. His one passion beyond work was his annual ski trip to Salt Lake City, Utah. He was preceded in death by his son Gavin Roberts and his mother, Mary Reid Roberts.

Survivors include his wife, Valarie Roberts; children, Kris Sandefur of Henderson, KY, Mason Roberts, of Lexington, KY and Carson Roberts of Owensboro, KY; his father, Bill Roberts of Owensboro; brothers and sisters, Hadley Harington, Janet Eaton, Bob Roberts, Norah Qabazard and John Roberts; grandchildren, Madeline Hayes, Anna Hayes and Sophia Hayes.

Visitation will be on Saturday from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. at Glenn Funeral Home. Services will be private. Final place of rest will be Ayers Rock Australia.
