William Laney Risinger

William Laney Risinger, 68, of 2101 Woodland Dr., Owensboro, died Monday, June 24, 2002 at his home. The Odin, Il native was retired from ALCOA where he was an electrician. He was a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, AARP, TPA, and the Aluminum, Glass and Brick Workers International Union Local in Newburgh, IN.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Elizabeth Rich Risinger; two daughters, Linda K. Cunningham and Julie A. ''Parker'' Evans both of Owensboro; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four brothers, Edgar Risinger of Odin, Il., Warren Risinger of Salem, IL., Dwight Risinger of St Louis, and Donald Risinger of Selmaville, IL; and two sisters, Lois McClelland of Sandoval, IL and Mildred Gillihan of Salem, IL.

Funeral services are 11:30 A.M., Thursday, June 27, 2002 at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the Glenn Funeral Home from 3-8 P.M. on Wednesday, June 26 and after 10:30 A.M., Thursday at the church.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Pleasant Grove building Fund or Hospice.
