Mr. William C. Myles, Sr., 96, of 4214 Pendley Court, Owensboro, died Wednesday, March 20,2002 at Hillcrest Nursing Center.
The Daviess Co., KY native was a retired home-builder and contractor. He was a member of Settle Memorial United Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge #130 F & AM, and had been a soloist for the former Third Street Methodist Church and St. John United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Frances Klein Myles, two sons; William C. Myles, Jr., of Campbellsville and Dalton Kenneth Myles of Carmel, IN; a daughter, Mary Kathryn Thompson of Owensboro; a stepson, Michael Klein of Lexington; a step-daughter, Nancy Veal of Louisville; 11 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Services are 2:30 p.m. Friday at Glenn Funeral Home. Visitation is from 4 until 8 p.m. Thursday, and after 11a.m. Friday, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the memorial fund of Settle Memorial United Methodist Church.
