William C. Moseley

William C. Bill Moseley, 82, of 2317 Azra Ct., Owensboro, passed away on Sunday, September 2, 2007 at Owensboro Medical Health System. He was born in Ohio Co., Ky. to the late Claude and Margaret Westerfield Moseley. He was retired as a carpenter after 50 years with the Carpenters Union Local #549 and was a member of the Joe Ellis Masonic Lodge # at Pleasant Ridge. He was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II and was a Ky. Colonel. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, fixing and repairing things for his family, baseball and Ky. basketball. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Thelma Lewis and Betty Sue Moseley, and two sons-in-law, Bennie Arnold and Jerry Phillips.

Surviving is his wife of 16 years, Georgia L. Moseley, a son, Joseph Claude J. C. Moseley and his wife Terry of Owensboro, three daughters, Julia Margaret Judy Arnold, Deborah M. Debbie Moseley, and Rebecca Ann Becky Phillips all of Owensboro. eight grandchildren, William J. Billy Moseley, Michael B. Mike Moseley, Vanessa R. Nessa Moseley, Jeffrey Lynn Arnold, Ryan Lee Arnold, Mark Alan Arnold, Matthew Lee Phillips, and Lucas Neal Phillips, and 10 great grandchildren, mother of the children, Cornelia B. Moseley of Owensboro, a brother, Charles Moseley and his wife Barbara of Owensboro, and his beagle and best pal Buddy.

Services will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 5, at the Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery in Ohio Co with military honors presented by the Honor Guard of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 696. Visitation will be from 12:00-8:00 P.M. Tuesday and after 8:30 A.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. Masonic services will be Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
