Reverend William H. Bill Marret, 68, of Bowling Green, KY, died September 11, 2007 after a courageous battle with cancer. Bill was born June 20, 1939 in Daviess County. He graduated from Daviess County High School and Boyce Bible College. He was an ordained Southern Baptist minister. Bill served congregations in southern Indiana and western Kentucky. Upon retirement, he continued to serve through the Kentucky Baptist Disaster Relief Organization.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Marret of Bowling Green, KY; daughters, Pam Riley and Allen of Bowling Green, Tamie Hodges and David of Benton, KY, and son Greg Marret and Bonnie of Knoxville, TN; seven grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Janice Marret of Owensboro.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Friday, September 14, 2007 at Glenn Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation is from 5-8 Thursday and after 8:30 a.m. Friday. Burial will follow the service in Owensboro Memorial Gardens.
