William Robert Kirk

William Robert Kirk, 68, of Owensboro passed away on March 30, 2012 at the Owensboro Medical Health System.
Mr. Kirk was born on March 11, 1944 the son of Alfies Edward Kirk and Mary Kathleen Millay, he was preceded in death by his father, and three brothers.
Mr. Kirk was a U.S. Army veteran, he was retired from the Ford Motor Co. after 30 years of service, he was a board member of the Hancock County Game & Fish, NASCAR fan, he loved to fish and spend time with his family at BBQ's and fish fries.
Mr. Kirk is survived by his wife of 44 years Margaret Kirk, his mother Kathleen Kirk of Owensboro, three daughters Vickie Kirk, Terri Kirk, Kathie Kirk all of Owensboro, three brothers, Jackie Kirk and his wife Dorothy of Eddyville, KY, J.D. Kirk and his wife Leveta of Lewisport, KY Roger Kirk and his wife Dottie of Owensboro, KY one sister Helen Payne and her husband Eddie of Owensboro, KY, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday April 2, 2012 in the chapel of the Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Father Julian Ibemere officiating with burial to follow in the Elmwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM on Sunday April 1, 2012 with prayers at 5:30 PM and from 9:00 AM until service time on Monday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Mitchell Memorial Cancer Center envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
