William Howard Hinton

William Howard Hinton, age 93, of Rockport, Indiana passed away Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at Millers Mary Manor. He was born in Owensboro, Kentucky on September 28, 1919 to the late Frank and Vitella Hinton.

William was a member of Larkin Baptist Church in Rockport, IN. He served his country in the U.S Army, he was also a life long Mason and Teamster. He was a trucker who owned his own truck stop early in his career.

Aside from his loving parents William is preceded in death by his loving wife, Emma Hulsey Hinton, his son, Jimmy Hinton, and his two daughters; JoAnn Van Winkler and Carol Stateler.

He is survived by three loving sons; Gary Hinton, Billy Hinton and Donald Hinton, as well as many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 12, 2012 at 2:00PM in the chapel of Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with interment to follow at Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4:00PM until 8:00PM on Thursday at the funeral home.
