William Darrell Hines

William D. "Darrell" Hines, 73, of Beaver Dam, passed away December 25, 2016 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born January 2, 1943 to the late James T. Hines Sr. and Margaret Hines. Darrell was a graduate from Daviess County High School, served in the U.S. Navy and retired from G.M. Darrell loved his family and was an avid fisherman that enjoyed camping and boating. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, James T. Hines Jr.

Darrell is survived by his wife, Pixie Hines; sons, William Darrell Hines II and his wife Amanda, Jason N. Hines and his wife Holly, Kevin E. Hines; daughters, Stacey L. Webster and her husband Ron; step-daughter, Leva Blandford and her husband Bradley; step-son, Christopher Renfrow and his wife Franziska; nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild; sisters, Barbara Grace and Darrell's twin sister, Carol McGill; brother, Dr. Kenneth Hines and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 29, 2016 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory where visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. Fr. Tony Jones will be officiating.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made towards the family of Darrell Hines, in c/o Pixie Hines.
