William Henderson

William Bill Henderson, 82, of 2103 Dickey Drive, Owensboro, passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2007 at Harborside Healthcare Center. He was born in Daviess Co., Ky. to the late Lige & Mary Elizabeth Embry Henderson. He was a retired carpenter after 60 years, a member of First General Baptist Church, and loved golfing and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by a son, Jimmie Ray Henderson on June 6, 2001, and five brothers, Odist, James, Jack, Carl, and Gilbert Henderson.

Surviving is his wife of 62 years, Mary Louise Henderson, a son and his wife, David Lee & Jennifer Henderson of Owensboro, a sister, Ora Lee Johnston of Owensboro, seven grandchildren, David, Leon, Brian, Johnny, Wesley, Kevin, and Jimmy Henderson. and 10 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Monday, January 8, at the Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00-6:00 P.M. Sunday and after 10:00 A.M. Monday at the funeral home.
