William Kent Hardesty, 46, of 422 Clay Street, Owensboro, died Wednesday, January 18, 2006, at Owensboro Medical Health System. He was born June 8, 1959 to William Joseph and Eva Locher Hardesty in Daviess County. He played football at Owensboro High School and has coached baseball and football for many years with the youth leagues. He has been a videographer for Owensboro High School football team since 2003.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Joseph Hardesty on August 9, 1984.
Survivors include his children, Aaron and Amy Hardesty of Rockport, IN; his mother, Eva Hardesty of Owensboro; brothers, Byron Hardesty of Atlanta, GA, Charles Hardesty of Owensboro, Neil Hardesty and his wife, Jill, of Decatur, AL, Bill Hardesty and his wife, Sarah, of Louisville; sisters, Jeeney Antenucci and her husband, Mike, of Cincinnati, OH, Judy Harder and her husband, Walter, of Proctorville, OH, Jackie Foster and her husband, Kelly, of Versailles, KY; special aunt, Margerie Hardesty of Owensboro; seven nieces and seven nephews.
Services will be 1:00 PM Saturday, at Glenn Funeral Home with burial in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00 until 8:00 PM Friday, with prayers at 5:00 PM Friday. Visitation will be after 10:00 AM Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the William Kent Hardesty Family, %Eva Hardesty, 2923 Old Hartford Road, Owensboro, KY 42303.
