William Hardesty

William ''Neil'' Hardesty, 47, of Decatur, Ala., passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2014. He was born March 30, 1967, in Owensboro to William Joseph and Eva Locher Hardesty. He graduated from Owensboro High School and went on to receive a degree in mechanical engineering from ITT Tech in Evansville. He was preceded in death by his father, William Joseph Hardesty; and a brother, Kent Hardesty.

Survivors include his loving wife of 16 years, Jill Hardesty; mother Eva Locher Hardesty; brothers Byron Hardesty of Atlanta, Charles (Cathy) Hardesty of Owensboro and Bill (Sarah) Hardesty of Louisville; sisters Jeeney (Mike) Antenvcci of Cincinnati, Judy (Walter) Harder of Proctorville, Ohio, and Jackie (Kelly) Foster of Versailles; and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Owensboro Humane Society or Daviess County Animal Shelter

Services will be private. Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be left at
