William "Larry" Goff

William “Larry” Goff, 79, of Owensboro, passed away Sunday, September 6, 2026, at University of Louisville Hospital. He was born on August 14, 1947, in Owensboro, to the late Rev. Paul and Marjorie Midkiff Goff. Larry enjoyed watching sports on television, as well as old westerns. When he wasn’t listening to his favorite 1950’s music, he was using his military training to predict the weather. He graduated from Daviess County High School in 1965. Larry then entered the Marine Corps in 1966 during the Vietnam War. He went on to graduate with a bachelor’s degree from Murray State. Larry then spent over 40 years working for National Southwire Aluminum, retiring as a Pot Lines Supervisor.

Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Jeannie Sparks Goff, and his sister Angela Hill.

Larry is survived by his stepsons, Len Feldpausch (Kittie), and Kevin Feldpausch; and his daughter Lori Bradshaw (Greg); grandchildren, Chris Feldpausch, Bradley Feldpausch, Taryne O’Bryan, and Laura Feldpausch; 9 grandchildren; and sister, Paula Wedding (Bud).

The funeral service for Larry will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 11 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial to follow at Owensboro Memorial Gardens.
