William Stuart Glenn

October 30, 1926 — September 12, 2005

William Stuart Glenn, 78, of 1611 Navajo Dr., Owensboro, passed away on Monday, September 12, 2005, at Owensboro Medical Health System. He was born in Daviess Co., Ky. to the late Stuart & Margaret Minnette Glenn. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. He worked at Sears for 25 years where he was manager of the Heating & Plumbing Dept. before retiring and then was at Green River Appliance Co for 13 years as a salesman. He was preceded in death by a son, David Michael Glenn in 1945 and a grandson, Jeremy Glenn in March, 2005.

Surviving is his wife of 11 years, Dora Parsons Glenn, seven sons & their wives, Patrick S. & Alma Glenn, Bill & Debby Glenn, Andy & Anne Glenn, Tom Glenn, David & Carolyn Glenn, and Jeff Glenn, all of Owensboro. and Rick Fulkerson of Auburn, Ky., five daughters and their husbands, Mary & Tom Morris, Kathy & Ollie Edge, Susan & Rick Evans, and Lora Ann & David Lynch, all of Owensboro, and Lisa & John Rhodes of Cookeville, Tn., 26 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, September 15, at the Glenn Funeral Home Chapel. Inurnment will in Owensboro Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 11:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday and after 8:30 A.M. Thursday at the funeral home. Prayers will be at 6:00 P.M. Wednesday.
