William E. Gary

William E. Gary, Jr., 89, of 2381 Ford Avenue, died Monday, May 20, 2002 at Hillcrest Healthcare Center.

The Hopkinsville native was a retired oil producer, member of Trinity Episcopal Church having served as senior warden, the Owensboro Country Club, the Campbell Club, attended the University of Kentucky, was a member of Phi Delta Theta, was past president of Owensboro Life Underwriters, former member Owensboro Board of Realtors.

Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Vida Damron Gary, two sons, William E. Gary, III of Grand Rivers, KY and David Gary of Portland, Oregon; a daughter, Nancy Gary McKinley of Alexandria, VA; six grandchildren and eight grandsons.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 24, 2002 at Trinity Episcopal Church. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery. His Family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, May 23, 2002 at Glenn Funeral Home.
