William A. Bill Fultz, 78, of 6771 Leslie Lane, Owensboro, passed away on Monday, July 16, 2007 at Bon Harbor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. He was born in Connersville, In. to the late William & Ester Crager Fultz. He was a retired from the General Electric Co. and was a U. S. Navy veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion, and enjoyed coin collecting, working in the yard and raising flowers, cooking, and spending time with his family. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Debbie Myers.
Surviving is his wife of 41 years, Bettie M. Fultz, his children, William L. Daniels of Owensboro, Preston Vowels of Dallas, Tx., Jerry Dale Daniels of Michigan, Cindy Monahan of Oklahoma City, Ok., Patricia Lynn Dieringer of Granger, In., and Kathy Douchman of South Bend, In., 15 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and three sisters, Mary Melhiser and Margaret Wright, both of Owensboro, and Murel Howard of South Bend.
Services will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday, July 19 at the Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday and after 8:30 A.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
