William Fountain III

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of William Fountain III, 45, of Madisonville, he departed this life on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born on January 27, 1980, in Owensboro to Janice Robinette and William Fountain Jr.

William was a Team Leader at T.T.M.A. He was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, and friend. William had a loving heart that will truly be missed.

He enjoyed life by spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. William loved cooking, playing cards, and spending time with his family and friends. He especially cherished moments with his nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews. William shared a close relationship with his grandson, Gianni, and had a special place in his heart for his great-niece, “Big Juice.”

He is preceded in death by his father, William Fountain Jr.; his maternal grandparents, Clovis and Anetta Barnes; his paternal grandparents, W.N. Fountain and Geraldine Gibbs; and a special cousin/brother, Jerard Fountain.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Monica Fountain; his daughter, Acacia Fountain; a son, William Fountain IV; and his bonus children, Brittney, Brandon, and Jonathan; grandsons, Gianni and Ki’moni; granddaughter, Kenyatta; mother, Janice Robinette; and his siblings, Anna (Irvin) Henry, Crystal (Prentice) Johnson, Demetria (Chanda) Tutt, Demetrice Tutt, Harvey Tutt, and Damion Barnes.

The visitation for William will be Tuesday, July 15, 2025, from 2 until 5 p.m. at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. A meal will immediately follow at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church 507 Plum Street, Owensboro, KY 42301.
