William T. Foster, 75, of Owensboro passed away Thursday, April 7, 2005 at the Owensboro Medical Health System. Born in Daviess County on March 23, 1930 to the late William A. and Anna Mae Clark Foster, Mr. Foster was a mechanic and member of the Hall Street Baptist Church. He enjoyed watching basketball, car races. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and member of the Disabled American Veterans and American Legion. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Richard Roberts, a brother, Robert Lee Foster, Sr. and a sister, Sally Postiglione.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Lula Caudill Foster; two daughters, Belinda Roberts and Angela (and Tommy) Ford both of Owensboro; three grandchildren, Samantha Roberts, and David and Jessica Ford; and a great-grandchild, Jaylene Michelle Roberts; a brother, James ( and Beverly) Foster of Owensboro; two sisters, Lena (and Sidney) Probus and Cora (and Halbert) Tucker both of Owensboro; and brothers- and sisters-in-law, June (and Kenneth Andy) Anderson and Betty (and Fred) Hagman both of Owensboro, Paul (and Glenna) Caudill of Decatur, IL, David (and Nellie) Caudill of Olive Hill, KY, and Cora M. Foster of Owensboro.
Funeral services are 11:30 P.M. Monday, April 11, 2005 at Glenn Funeral Home with burial in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 2-6 P.M. on Sunday and after 9 A.M. on Monday.
