William V. Dockery

William V. Dockery, 42, of Owensboro passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 8, 2013. He was born in Daviess County on May 15, 1971 to Dennis and Anna Lee Dockery.

He is preceded in death by his father, Dennis M. Dockery.

William was a good loving father, companion, son, brother, uncle and friend to many. He provided for his family by working as an independent contractor. He enjoyed spending time with his family, boating, NASCAR, the Miami Dolphins, four wheeling, golfing with his close friends, and UK Basketball.

He is survived by his fianc of 13 years, Robin Lee Miller of Owensboro; his mother, Anna Lee Dockery of Owensboro; his five children, Jessica, Jacklyn, Brooke, Brianna and Brittany Dockery all of Owensboro; his three brothers, Homer Lane( Carol Adams), Roger Dockery ( Tammy) and Tony Dockery( Cynthia) all of Owensboro. His is also survived by four nephews; Randy and Michael Lane, Jarrett and Dalton Dockery; three nieces, Kendall and Alesandra Dockery, Crystal Ambs.

Funeral services will be held at Noon on Wednesday in the Chapel of Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will follow at Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2PM until 8PM and after 10AM on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to his brother, Homer Lane.
