William Sidney Clark

William Sidney (Sid) Clark, Jr., 78, of Owensboro died on September 8, 2014 surrounded by his family. He was born on October 13, 1935 in Moselyville to the late William Sidney, Sr. and Flora Coomes Clark.
Sid graduated from Brescia College in 1963 and worked for the Internal Revenue Service for 33 and a half years. He was a member of Sts. Joseph and Paul Catholic Church. Sid enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren play football, basketball, and baseball. He loved photography, bowling, and being with family. Sid was an avid Louisville Cardinal fan.

Sid was a member of the Knights of Columbus 817, where he held several offices, including that of Grand Knight. He was also a member of the Owensboro Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus Assembly 2074, where Sid also held several offices, including, the Faithful Navigator.

Sid was preceded in death by his brother, Leon Clark; sisters, Mary Ruth Lampkins and Ruby Estes; and a nephew, Tony Lampkins.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Anna Lee Clark; children, William Sidney Clark III (Stephanie), Rhonda Ann Klee (Steve), Tim Clark (Mixi), John Clark, Kenneth Clark, Greg Clark, Karen Marie Tromly (David) and Mike Clark; 15 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren and one on the way; several step grand and great grandchildren; a sister Jean Clark; and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 10 am Friday at Sts. Joseph and Paul Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-8 pm on Thursday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory, with prayers at 7PM.

Memorial contributions may take the form of donations to the American cancer Society or to the National Right to Life.
