William Orville Capps

William O. "Bill" Capps, 72, of Owensboro, passed away Saturday, July 17, 2010 at the Bon Harbor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born October 23, 1937, he was the son of the late Stanley and Amie Woodard Capps. Mr. Capps was a carpenter and worked for several construction companies over the years. He enjoyed traveling, playing cards and pool and had a great sense of humor that marked his conversations with family and friends. In addition to his parents, Mr. Capps was preceded in death by brothers, Allen Capps, Gene Capps, Price Capps, Charles Capps, and Elvis Jay Capps, and sisters, Pearl Capps and Wanda Hodge.

Surviving is a brother, Johnny Capps of Owensboro and several nieces and nephews, including, Crystal (Ed) West of Semiway, KY and Randall (Nicole) Capps of Owensboro.

Services, under the direction of Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory, will be private.
