William H. Bumm

William H. "Bill" Bumm, 79, of Owensboro passed away Friday, May 16, 2008 at the Owensboro Medical Health System. Born October 11, 1928 in Daviess County, he was the son of the late Robert and Elizabeth Wink Bumm; was retired from De-Am-Ron Construction where he was a superintendent; and was a member of St. Martin Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Betty Clark Bumm; sons, William Rex Bumm of Columbia, TN, Gregory Scott Bumm of Owensboro and Keith Andrew Bumm of Ft. Worth, TX; daughters, Pamela B. Wink of Louisville and Vickie (and Kenneth) Rumage of Owensboro; brothers, Nicholas Bumm, Martin Bumm, and Leslie Bumm all of Owensboro; sisters, Betty Booker and Dorothy Ward of Philpot, Helen Bumm and Martha Payne of Owensboro, and Martina Vecchio of Bradenton, FL; and several nieces and nephews.

Services are 1 P.M. Monday, May 19, 2008 at St. Martin Catholic Church followed by entombment in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-8 P.M. on Sunday and after 10 A.M. on Monday at Glenn Funeral Home. Prayers will be said at 6 P.M. on Sunday at the funeral home.
