William "Bill" Brown, 63, of Owensboro passed away Tuesday, June 20 at Twin Rivers Nursing and Rehab. Mr. Brown was born June 29, 1953 in Daviess County to the late Clarence (Ham) Brown and Bertha Lancaster Brown. Bill loved flowers and grew some beautiful roses. He was an avid UK and NASCAR fan, loved rock-n-roll music and watching wrestling. Bill was also a very good bowler and once bowled a 297. He had a big heart for all animals especially dogs.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 42 years, Mary Margaret Brown; mother, Bertha Brown both of Owensboro; sister, Faith Merriman and husband J.D. of Newburgh, Indiana; in-laws, Pat Goetz, Cecilia McCarty, Terry Crowe, and Rod Crowe; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
The service will be 7:00 PM Friday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Father Emmanuel Udoh officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 7:00 PM.
