William Herman Brenner

August 8, 1941 — February 21, 2003

Billy Brenner, 61, of Calhoun, died Friday, February 21, at Nortons Hospital, Louisville. The Hopkins County native was the owner of Brenners Carpets, was a board member of BB&T Bank in Calhoun, a former Calhoun city councilman, a member of Owensboro Homebuilders, and attended Columbia Military Academy and Kentucky Wesleyan College.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Doris Bell Brenner, a brother, Sammy Brenner of Campbellsville, and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Services are at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Glenn Funeral Home. Visitation is from 2 until 8 p.m. Monday and after 11 a.m. Tuesday at Glenn Funeral Home. Burial will be in Calhoun Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the W. Gerald Edds Scholarship/College Heights Foundation at Western Kentucky University or the Scholarship Fund of Kentucky Wesleyan College.
