William Henry ''Bill'' Barnett, 76, of Owensboro died Saturday, November 30, 2002 at the Carmel Home. The Warrick County, Ind. native was retired from Barrett-Fisher Compan and a member of the Immaculate Catholic Church. He taught economics at Brescia Univerity; was a counselor for Recovery Inc. in Chicago for 17 years; was Area Governor for Toast Masters International; and was a Navy veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Jeanette A. Barnett; a son, Mark Barnett of Appleton, WI.; two daughters, Jo Anne Mason and Susan Rice of Owensboro; seven grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; two step great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Barbara Horrom of Booneville, IN and Martha Hahne of Warren, IL.
Funral services are 10:30 A.M. Tuesday at Immaculate Catholic Church with entombment in Resurrection Cemetery. Friends may call at the Glenn Funeral Home from 2-8 P.M. on Monday and after 9 A.M. on Tuesday. Prayers will be said at 6:30 P.M. on Monday at the funeral home.
