William Alfred Andress, Jr., passed away Sunday, January 6, at his home in Owensboro. William, born May 5, 1940, in Monroeville, Alabama, grew up in Thomasville, Alabama, and graduated from Thomasville High School. After a long career with Phillips 66 in Midland/Odessa, Texas, he retired and moved to Tupelo, Mississippi, and then to Owensboro, Kentucky, to be close to his sister and her family.
Bill was preceded in death by his father William Alfred Andress, Sr., and his mother Boncyle Elizabeth Andress.
Surviving are his sister Jacquelyn Andress Barber and her husband Jeffrey; his niece Katherine Andress Gray and her children Preston Hodges Brown and Parker Grayson Brown; his nephew Kimbrough William Gray, his wife Lisa, and their daughter Kylee Andress Gray; and his niece Allison Andress Morris, her husband Jeffrey, and their children Madeline Andress Morris and Harrison William Morris.
Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory served the Andress family.
