Wilbur Charles Duncan

January 24, 1920 — August 20, 2003

Wilbur Charles Duncan, 83, of 7662 Sauer Road, died Wednesday, Aug, 20, 2003, at Owensboro Mercy Health System. He was retired from farming. He trained dogs and mules, herded trail trips, was a Trail Master on the Lincoln Wagon Trail and he loved driving teams.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years Wilhelmina Soper Duncan; two daughters, Donna Duncan of Louisville and Anne Hubbard of Owensboro; five grandchildren, Melanie Smith of Louisville, Amber Dykes of Petersburg, Virginia, Ashley Oberst, Dylan Hubbard and Astacia Hubbard all of Owensboro; one great-granddaughter, Maggie Smith of Louisville; and a constant companion, a dog, Hannah.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Glenn Funeral Home in Owensboro. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery in Owensboro. Visitation is from 2-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home and after 9 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Online condolences can be made at www.glennfuneralhome.com.
