W.D. Kasinger

Mr. W. D. Casey Kasinger, age 61 of 2776 Wayside Drive East, Owensboro, died Tuesday, September 25th, at Owensboro Mercy Health System. Mr. Kasinger was employed as a sheet metal worker for Midwest Roofing. He was a member of Sheet Metal Workers Union # 20 in Evansville, Indiana. He attended Buena Vista Baptist Church in Owensboro. He loved the outdoors, fishing and hunting, and golfing.

Mr. Kasinger was born in Butler County, Kentucky, August 11, 1940, the son of the late Walter, and Martha Ann Johnson Kasinger. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Judy Matlock Kasinger. He is also survived by two sons, Chris Kasinger of Owensboro, and Scott Kasinger of Canton, Michigan. Two brothers, Larry and David Kasinger, both of Owensboro; two sisters, Ann K. Embry, and Lucille Robertson, also both of Owensboro. Three grandchildren, and several neices and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at Glenn Funeral Home Chapel, Thursday, September 27th,at 1:00 pm. Visitation will be held at Glenn Funeral Home, Wednesday from two to eight pm. and after eleven a.m. on Thursday. Burial will be in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to The American Cancer Society, or to St. Jude Hospital, Danny Thomas Memorial Fund.
