Warren Duane Holt

Warren Duane Holt, 60, of 4318 Edgewood Court, Owensboro, died Friday, December 16, at his home. Mr Holt was born in Liberal, Kansas to the late George Bob and Margaret Brown Holt. He retired after 38 years as a Senior Budget Analasyst from Southern Star.
He loved woodworking and made childrens furniture. He made the furniture for Grandmas Corner.
Mr. Holt was also preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Mullins.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Nancy Holt, a daughter Laura Holt of Owensboro, and a son, Andy Holt of Tulsa, OK, brothers and sisters, Harold ( Doris) Holt of Centerville, GA., Evelyn Brecheisen of Wellsville, KS., Jean ( Wayne) Chitwood of Welda, KS., Venita (John) Money of Silver Creek, GA., Dean (Karen) Holt of Midwest City, OK., and Eunice (Bill) Thompson of Topeka, KS., a grandson, A.J. Holt of Tulsa, OK., and his father-in-law, Gerald Hamilton of Ottowa, KS., and several nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 22, at Farris-Fuererborn Funeral Home in Garnett, Kansas, with visitation in Garnett from 10 .a.m. until funeral time. Burial will be in Welda Cemetery, Welda, KS.
Visitation in Owensboro will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Glenn Funeral Home who is handling local arrangements.
