Wanda Jean Clark Millay

Wanda Jean Clark Millay, 86, of Owensboro, passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 while under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. She was born May 21, 1931 in Daviess Co. to the late Grover and Theresa Payne Clark. Wanda was retired as a cook with St. Mary Elementary School in Paducah and at Sts. Joseph and Paul School. She was a member of Blessed Mother Catholic Church and enjoyed reading, walking, and sitting in her swing in the yard. Wanda especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph G. "Jack" Millay on February 21, 2011 and four siblings.

Surviving are her sons, Pat Millay and wife Patty of Owensboro and Michael G. Millay of Paducah, her daughter, Theresa Gail Gabel and husband Greg of Hardinsburg, eight grandchildren, Heather (Drew) Murray of South Carolina, Shawn (Amber) Millay of Owensboro, Chad Millay of Owensboro, Kristen (Josh) Gilmore of Owensboro, Kelly (John) Girardu of Peoria, IL, Megan (Chris) Hall and Tera (Brandon) Logue, all of Bowling Green, and Laura (Dan) Sheras of North Carolina, 15 great grandchildren, and a sister, Anna Jane Schidigger of Owensboro.

Services will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, October 21, at Blessed Mother Catholic Church with Father Emmanuel Udoh. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 P.M. Friday with prayers at 7:00 P.M. and after 8:30 A.M. Saturday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory.
