Wanda Faye Jones, 66, of 638 Delray St., Owensboro, died, Wednesday, December 19, 2001 at the Owensboro Mercy Health System. The Hancock County native was a member of Southeast Baptist Church and had worked at the Owensboro Mercy Health System as a Nurse's Assistant for 15 years.
She had attended Ridgewood Baptist Church; had a church ministry at DAVCO Nursing Home and enjoyed puzzles, flowers, and UK Basketball.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, John L. Jones; three sons, Aaron Jones and Danny Jones of Owenbsoro and John E. Jones of Philpot; a daughter, Debbie Lambert of Philpot; four grandchildren; a brother, Rex Dale Fulkerson of Lewisport; and a sister, Diane Elliott of Philpot.
Funeral services are 1:00 P.M. Friday, December 21, 2001 at the Glenn Funeral Home with burial in Brushy Fork Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1-8 P.M. on Thursday and after 9 A.M. on Friday.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form on contributions to the Hospice Association Memorial Fund, 723 Harvard Dr., Owensboro, KY 42303.
