Wanda F. Hedge

Wanda F. Hedge, 69, of Owensboro passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born in Owensboro to the late Forrest and Sylvia Pate. Wanda was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.
She enjoyed NASCAR, especially Tony Stewart. Wanda loved playing bingo and spending time with family. She was loved by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Jeff Hedge in 2012; and a brother, James "Bimbo" Pate in 2014.
Wanda is survived by her daughters, Melanie Ambs and Stephanie Hedge, both of Owensboro; a son, Jason Hedge (Patti), of North Carolina; grandchildren, Jamie, Brandon, Matthew, Michael, Steven, Tristan and Justin Hedge and Samuel and Olivia Curlee; sisters, Carol Tucker (James), Georgia Marksberry (Bobby) and Patricia Sargent (Ken); a brother, Don Howard; and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be at 2 PM Saturday, May 16 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be on Friday from 4-8 PM and after 12 on Saturday at the funeral home.
