Wanda D. Gregory

Wanda D. Gregory, 60, of Owensboro, passed away, Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Wanda was born November 18th, 1955 in Owensboro, to the late Hugh and Winona Wilhite.
Wanda was a 1977 Graduate of Kentucky State University with a Bacholors of Science in Early Childhood Education. She worked as a data processor with Baskin Robbins for more than 20 years. Mrs. Gregory was an active member of Owensboro Seventh Day Adventist Church where her volunteer work included cleaning the church.
Wanda is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Mr. Dexter Gregory; two sons, Quincy and Patrick Gregory; granddaughter, Maleyia Gregory, all of Owensboro; brother, Hugh Wilhite Jr. of Washington, D.C.; sisters, Evelyn Chilton and her husband, Michael of Owensboro, Eleanor Parker, Donnie Wilhite, both of Frankfort, Eunice Garner and her husband, Mark of Ruther Glen, VA; and many nieces and nephews. Wanda will be missed dearly by her family, especially her beautiful granddaughter.
The service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 6 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory, Pastor Kevin Shearer officiating. Burial will be at Pleasant Point Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. and after 12 noon on Saturday at the Funeral Home.
