Wanda J. Gray

Wanda J. Gray, 91, of Owensboro, passed away September 22, 2016 while in the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. Born August 30, 1925 in Livermore to the late James B. and Grace Holder, Wanda was a member of Masonville United Methodist Church. She was a dedicated mother, homemaker and loved spending time with her grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing cards and quilting.

Wanda is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth C. Gray and a sister, Alta Holder.

She is survived by a daughter, Shirley (Barry) Wigginton; grandchildren, Kevin (Kim) Wigginton and Tricia (Steven) Phelps; great-grandchildren, Krissy (Josh) Baldwin, Brittany (Stephen) Higdon, Chase Phelps, Katherine Wigginton, Laura Wigginton, Andrew Wigginton, Jacob Culbertson, Lucas Culbertson; great-great-grandchildren, Gavin Lykins and Mason Higdon; sisters, Myrl Lawrence, Fay Free, Betty Gross, Lois Goforth, Joyce Walker and Nancy Mansfield and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday September 26, 2016 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. and after noon on Monday at the funeral home.
