Walter F. Meschko, 55, of 4068 Highway 60 East, Owensboro, died Thursday June 7, 2001 at Owensboro Mercy Health System. Mr. Meschko was born in Owensboro, KY on March 4, 1946, he was the son of the late Edward Thomas Meschko and Connie Meschko White.

He was employed at Alcoa Aluminum Company for 32 years also, owned the Owensboro Marina. He was a member of Lewis Lane Baptist Church. He enjoyed boating and being on the river and collecting cars. He was a Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War where he was a jet engine mechanic.

Survivors include his wife of 25 years Sandra Parker Meschko; one son, Brandon Meschko of Owensboro, one daughter, Meredith Craig of Cocoa Beach, FL; his mother, Connie Meschko White of Corpus Christie, TX; one brother, Tom Meschko of Corpus Christie, TX; one sister, Ruth Myers of Louisville, KY and several nieces.

Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Monday June 11, 2001 at Glenn Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Myke Templeton. His family will receive friends from at Glenn Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday June 10, 2001 and after 9:00 a.m. Monday.
