Wallace Ray Huff

Wallace Ray "Wally" Huff, 83, of Owensboro passed away Friday, February 2, 2018 at Signature Healthcare at Hillcrest. He was born October 11, 1934 to the late Oliver and Virgie Huff. Wallace retired from the Owensboro Police Department after 30 years of service. He enjoyed playing bingo and watching UK basketball. Wallace loved his dogs and cats and especially loved spending time with his grandkids. He was loved by many and it was reflected by the amount of friends that he had.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Homer, Bernard, Truman, and Buddy Huff; his sisters, Almer Boling, Virginia Huff, and Eva Huff Fuqua
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Joyce Huff of Owensboro; his daughters, Kimberly West (David) of Henderson, KY, Nichelle Lancaster (RJ Nix) of Owensboro, and Carol Miller (Eddie) of Owensboro; his grandchildren, Beth Taylor, Mark Young, Courtney Boarman, and Collin Miller; his 8 great grandchildren
The service will be 2PM Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Paul Gatewood will officiate. The burial will follow at Owensboro Memorial Gardens. The visitation will be 2-6PM Monday and 12 noon until service time on Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to the Fraternal Order of Police, 841 Ridgeway Drive, Owensboro, KY 42303.
